Tennessee Titans Athletic Trainers Workbox
This trunk was designed and built for the Tennessee Titans as a portable workstation for their athletic trainers. The trunk is designed with dual front doors allowing for storage of small items and 4 heavy duty drawers for the storage of larger items. The trunk features large field casters allowing it to roll easily to the sideline allowing all equipment to be easily accessed during games.
The trunk interior features 4 drawers mounted on heavy duty Accuride glides. The drawers are mounted in a 1/2" plywood internal structure that is then slide into the trunk, this allows the drawers to operate independently from the exterior walls to prevent damage to the drawer glides during transportation. The top 2 drawers are divided into 9 separate compartments with 1/4" Lexan hinged lids to keep small items organized and contained. The bottom two drawers are open to allow storage for larger items. The drawers are constructed out of 1/2" Baltic Birch plywood, black texture coated and mounted on heavy duty Accuride glides.
The front lids feature additional storage for small parts. The left lid features 5 Tilt Lock bins for a total of 30 small compartments. The right lid features 6 compartments built out of clear 1/4" Lexan for highly visible small parts storage.
The trunk exterior is built out of 3/8" plywood laminated with Navy Blue ABS plastic. The trunk rides on 8" field casters and featured deep recessed handles, a stencil of the Tennessee Titans logo and 2 recessed D-Ring shackles allowing items to be tied to the trunk.
