Northwestern Sideline Sports Nutrition Trunk
This trunk was built for Northwestern University as a portable sideline storage trunk used by their performance nutrition department. The trunk features 6 removable plastic bins, removable clear Lexan dust cover for bins, 2 drawers, 2 removable Pelican 30qt coolers and table legs in each lid.
The trunk interior is finished in black texture coating for easy cleaning. The top of the trunk features 6 removable plastic bins designed to hold fruit, mounted above the plastic bins is a removable 3/8" Lexan dust cover (shown with white protective film still attached). Below the removable bin section are 2 drawers designed to hold granola bars and prep supplies. The trunk features 2 removable Pelican 30qt coolers that allow users to transport fresh fruit and beverages from either the locker room or a hotel when the team is on the road. The coolers are extremely heavy duty and well insulated, each unit can hold ice for 7-10 days; which is perfect for transportation for away games.
The trunk exterior is built out of 3/8" plywood laminated with black ABS plastic and features a 2 color silkscreen of the Northwestern N logo. The trunk features table legs in both lids allowing for two separate portable work surfaces. The trunk also features 8" field casters (2 locking), pad lockable hasp latches and deep recessed handles.
